dburne Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Ever since the Cold Start taxi to runway option was added, I have preferred to fly my PWCG campaigns in that manner. I think if I recall correctly it was introduced in Kuban, and carried on into Bodenplatte. Was it ever done for Moscow or Stalingrad, or just the two I mentioned?

Yogiflight Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 @dburneIt is on all maps. I was flying lately 110 campaign on Moscow map and I started fighter campaigns on Stalingrad map, too.

Our flight of four were assigned to Spit MK Vb's. The IX's were already depleted to only two, so I reluctantly chose to go with the MKb like the rest. Intercept mission at 28,500ft. I am pretty sure any mission assigned for a Mk Vb at 28k+ ft of altitude, should be considered cruel and inhumane treatment of the guys flying!
TAIPAN_ Posted June 5, 2020 Posted June 5, 2020 Do we change the start type for this? 0 is already on runway, what setting for cold start? Or is it a separate config change?

If you are not sure what an advanced config does or what the possible values are hover over the text and you will get a tool tip with a more detailed description. 1
Lokerian Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 perhaps on the subject, i don't know what am i doing wrong, im trying to do a taxi start with mig 32, but for some reason my wingman AI don't start their engines, even though im not leader. any ideas?
Nocke Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 when that happens usually if you take the initiative and just take off they wake up and follow

There are some airfields where the AI just won't start engines, or will start engines but won't taxi - so far I've not been able to figure out why
Lokerian Posted July 15, 2020 Posted July 15, 2020 Well i must admit i kind of gave up on it, but from my testing came to the problem of not taking off seemed to be related to the MIG 32, perhaps im wrong, but changing to P-40 allowed me to taxi without issues, so i dont know but i though to drop this in case it helps someone.
