Career: Mission failed and false friendly fire

Two separate issues:

1. Primary objective completed + landing completed yet debrief says mission failed

2. Friendly fire warning for destroying another bridge in enemy territory

 

Details:

• Career mission IL-2 1941, Objective is to attack enemy river crossing.
• First bomb destroys river crossing, message on screen said successful.
• I still have 1 bomb left, and the briefing gave ok to destroy targets of opportunity, so I destroy the bridge to the west of this as well (definitely enemy territory) - the message from this is "incurred a penalty for friendly fire" even though it's definitely enemy side.
• Took zero damage, returned to base
• Successful landing, got the message on screen as well.
• Debrief shows "Mission Failed"

Update: Similar mission flown was able to complete by also destroying all the vehicles and flak guns near the bridge. So it's likely just a mismatch between the briefing and the actual objective, if it requires more than just the crossing itself to be destroyed.

Was just given a similar mission, different river crossing.

This time no friendly fire issue.

 

While in flight, the mission was successful.

Debrief= failed

No, the friendly fire was a message in the chat during the mission like "[name] has incurred a penalty for friendly fire".

In the debrief I don't think it  said anything about friendly fire.

 

The main issue though was the debrief of both missions showed as failed, even though the large text during the mission said successful. Might be different trigger for mission success to the success text...

I've gotten the friendly fire penalty seemingly out of nowhere, I assumed my bomb shrapnel hit a wingman

I suspect it might be objects in the editor being labelled for the wrong side (or an issue with neutral buildings on the enemy side)
