Hey guys new mission maker question again.

I am trying to set an airbase to either RAF, USAAF or Luftwaffe in single player and AI wingen and have them taxi out when triggered by a Zone infraction.

I understand the zone trigger and attaching AI to a player (Thanks to all of you for sharing your templates/tutorials/manuals/help).

What I don't understand is the airfield part. :scratch_one-s_head:

Thanks - found it in your manual too!

Question - can I make multiple taxiways for a single airfield (say a north (fighters) and south (bombers)) that both funnel into the same runway. I am guessing if I use two airfield objects there will be collisions - is that a correct statement?

Yes to the first question. In the "Notes" linked to above, see "Takeoff command, multiple airfield objects, with or without taxi paths" and the correction noted in the "Update". Also, see the comment by BlackSix (developer) here. To the second question, maybe.

@JimTM so I got the 1st issue solved and working (only issue now is on the single player briefing map, how do I see the airfield icon show RAF/USAAF/Luftwaffe) I have the frontline working.

Set the country in the airfield object advanced properties.

Sorry, I was thinking of a multiplayer mission when I replied. Airfield objects do not show up in singleplayer missions. If you want to mark the airfield location, you can use an icon translator with (optionally) the Icon ID set to Airfield, but this does not indicate the side that the airfield is on.

Interesting! So the concept of airfield indicator on the map is a function only for multiplayer? How does it work on single player campaigns?

The large airfield icons, such as a star for Russian fields, are just for spawn points in multiplayer. I don't play singleplayer so I'm not sure what the airfield icons look like in the official campaigns. When you build campaigns, you can add a Adobe Flash "tactical overlay" over your map, which gives you more graphical options. Maybe that's where the icons are coming from. For more information on campaign construction, see here
