Quick Q - how to save a career mission to replay again?

Hi All, how can I save an enjoyable career mission after completion so I can replay it again as a single mission?

 

Presumably I have to rename files in missions folder?

Last time I checked you need to use the Mission Editor to open file under 1C Game Studios\IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles\data\Missions\ _gen.Mission and under mission properties change the name and mission type to single. Save it and it will show up under your missions list.

Please be aware that you need to copy it before you start the next mission and also before you start a new quick mission or it will be overwritten.

I'm assuming this would also work for a mission generated by the QMB?

 

( I'm trying to set up a QMB with US or Brit pilot in P-40 etc.)

Didn't test it but I think this should work.
