Brennus Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 (edited) While we wait for an official hotfix (or patch), I found that using Vulcan (DXVK) completely removes the (shader?) corruption associated with the 4.006 update. Performance, for me (RX 580 (8GB)), is comparatively lower with DXVK, but your mileage may vary. Spoiler Edited May 20, 2020 by Brennus 1

I don't know either, I'm asking. have a friend who has this problem with the graphics card. I gave him his tip. Salut! Edited May 20, 2020 by =ABr=BR_Paco
Brennus Posted May 20, 2020 Author Posted May 20, 2020 Also, I found that using FXAA rather than MSAA with DXVK negates the performance hit, at least for me. I haven't tested it extensively (yet), but it looks promising. I'm now looking at 60 FPS (locked) on the ground with FXAA compared to 50 FPS with MSAA. So, it appears that the performance with DXVK suffers the most when MSAA is a factor.
BRSQD_Bacana Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 Didn't quite understand how to install this MOD. I also want to test the same with GTX 1060 6GB. Delete "d3d11.dll" and "dxgi.dll" in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\bin\game" d3d11.dll I didn't find that file. Only this dxBackend11. Besides replacing and pasting that Vulkan file, do you need to do anything else?
Brennus Posted May 20, 2020 Author Posted May 20, 2020 You are correct, there's currently nothing to replace (d3d11.dll, dxgi.dll). Just drop the files in "...bin\game", and your good to go.
