Celebrating IL-2 with a Yak-9 and Yak-9T giveaway!

It's been just over four years since I launched the Stormbirds blog and I want to celebrate and say thanks to the community for your support and readership over the years by doing a giveaway for the Yak-9 and Yak-9T Collector Planes. I also want to highlight what a huge success Sturmovikfest ended up being. I had no idea if everyone would go for it but it was great and I'm grateful to have seen everyone support that initiative too.

 

I also want to give away because the Yak-9 is a very cool aircraft in my books. It's one that I spent a ton of time in back in the original IL-2 series and I'm very excited to see both the regular Yak-9 and the Yak-9T return to the series.

 

Here are the details on the giveaway!

 

I am giving away:

• 1x Yak-9 (Series 1) Collector Plane
• 1x Yak-9T (Series 1) Collector Plane

 

The draw will be done on @Requiem's new Discord community in the #giveaway-page section.

All you need to do is login there, find the #giveaway-page, click the 'tada' icon under the giveaway for one or both aircraft and you will be entered. I will re-roll in the unlikely event that the same person gets both. I want to spread the wealth a bit
