Can someone do a quick version of the Aurora Me-109??

Hopefully it won't be too tough...maybe even fun skin for the Bf-109E-7?I include the box art & the open box so a skinner might get the red approximately correct- it was a "deep" red almost on the cool side of the red spectrum. The whole thing needn't be exact- close enough will do.Any takers?

One of the guys at CloD managed a pretty good stand-in, but it won’t work over here of course .Will post ia screenshot as soon as I edit out the swastika- just like Aurora did 60 years ago!

( BTW the reasonI wanted to show off what  Great Battles or CloD could do to a non- flight sim modeler friend of mine. Also as a kid I built several of these terrible box scale Aurora kits...but at 9 years old in about 1956 who knew they were terrible...we did know they were bad guys's airplanes.Mine probably perished at the hands of my little brother or in glue fire crash landings in my backyard.Back then they cost below a dollar at the local store.Ebay has has mint boxed kits for up to $500.00! You can see why flying one around in GB or Clod is more attractive...)

Might want to put any image with a swastika in it under a spoiler tag.

Just tried this twice.I did a line of text , hit the eyeball button & added the image but it appeared to still show up in the post.I must have done something wrong but what?

Did you put the image inside the spoiler box that came up when you pressed the button?

No Do I do a copy & drag it there? I used the attachment function like I usually do hoping it would put the image into the spoiler box .Obviously I was wrong.

You have warmed the 10 year old’s heart that beats with this considerably older boy’s body...?

( It appears that Aurora is busy with alternative box art doesn’t it?)

( BTW Forgive me...do you have the time ( or desire...) to try to do one more?  I humbly present  the Me-109’s worthy foe the Aurora Spitfire X....:

Hi Blitzen.

I am 66 years old by now but I remember these kits my dad bought me in the late '50 !?

Once the bugs in the alpha layer corrected, I'll be glad to skin fot you this (very) blue Spifire.

I have to tell you that you have put a big smile on my face this gray morning in Seattle! I very much look forward to your efforts .I also look forward to having QM virtual dogfights with these two newly skinned aircraft that mirror the ones I had in my imagination I had back in the 50’s ,but this time with no styrene  glue fires....?

Larry 69 I will tell you I think you've come very close to capturing the unique "Aurora Red" in this first version...it almost hurts my eyes! Good work!
