Salute All

Well it certainly lived up to it's name, a very bloody affair, outnumbered by higher faster planes in all my encounters except one, where they were lower but still more numerous, the Central fliegers did their best. At least we can say "there's always next week".

There's another video from this mission called 'Not only cats have 9 lives' on my Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXmXU3LmISQ99zFgYDFKj-A/

cheers

The link for the "not only cats have nine lives" video appears to be duff. It's sending me to the youtube studio for my channel instead.

Thx Oliver88, I'm still learning about all this new fangled stuff. Hopefully I've edited it to work.

If he'd cut his throttle, I could have caught him sooner, but for some reason he didn't seem to want me to catch him and shoot him down, can't think why ?.

I find it hilarious that someone actually wasted bombs, (yes, plural), on you when you were on the ground after bailing.

What a twit.

I was watching you all the way, I knew as soon as I stopped flying in a straight line, my wings would fall off, especially if you sneezed ?

That's because they know how essential I am to the Kaiser's plan! ?  LOL

Actually, it’s not quite as pointless as you might imagine.  Some pilots, on he Allied side,  see an advantage in killing Central players, not just their aircraft.  If a Central pilot is killed then that degrades Central combat strength, for one hour by 3% (If you assume roughly 33 players are participating for Central).  On the other hand, if they bail to safety, they are straight back in the game, potentially.  So there is a “bloody and brutal” logic to it.

I believe Gamecock probably understands that, and that sure machine gun his parachute, but rather considers it pointless to use a bomb on them once they have already landed.

Absolutely. The attacker might just have thought he had a better chance of killing the pilot with the bomb blast, once the pilot is sitting on the ground, than with trying to shoot him with teeny weeny bullets ?.  Reading between the lines, of Gamecock's post, I thought I detected a bit of "Not Sporting" rather than just the expense of it all.

Just have to say "Thanks" to J5_Daedallus

I do like seeing myself on film, especially when I'm not making a pigs ear of something ?.

Not if they still are in their countdown to time out. This is where I really miss the 1600 pounder from RoF.
