Campaigns In The Next Update

Saw in an email today that there will be some campaigns in the next update.  Wonder when that will drop?

Think an sort of campaigns ( not an career mode) like Vander did made, great, only I would prefer more an PWCG integration like we did see in RoF.

 With a plane set only covering the last 6 months of the war, would be a very short career anyway.

I saw that email as well and I'm looking forward to it.  Makes me happy that work is still being put into this, even though its very much a side project.   Lots of potential for FC.   Any ideas when the next update is roughly scheduled to be?

Someone who just purchased the game on Steam also mentioned receiving an email of that sort. I'm curious to see what those campaigns will look like... Scripted campaigns of some sort I guess. Career mode will not be implemented.

I could be wrong, but I have a feeling they might just be talking about using @SYN_Vander’s campaigns.

You're right dude.  I believe it's based on Vanders "Kaiserschlacht" mini campaign. Hopefully, Jason can give us a more detailed update in the dev diaries.

I hope they do include it into the game. It’s a great campaign and Vander deserves the recognition.

I managed to squeeze 13 months out of this plane set, starting in Sept 1917.  Albatros, Pfalz, SE5a, Camel, Bristol, and Halberstadt are all available.  SPAD XIII is coming on line.  DRI prototype is out.  Moving forward and the up engined two seaters, DVII and Dolphin get introduced later.

 

For me the biggest drawback at the moment is that we have only 1 two seater for each side and they are not Corps recon types.  The fighter types are pretty well fleshed out for nearly a year of combat.

This... if nothing else, for god's sake let them put more correct two seaters into the game!
