GregP Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 Tremendous fun last night. Incredible work by the flight leads and JimTM coordinating the whole thing! 2
336th_Ripper* Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 (edited) I still have some tracks that were sent to me that I have to record then edit the whole thing. I promise it will be action packed with high energetic music. I think 10 minutes will be the maximum attention span so I have lots of quick transitions from scene to scene to make it as dynamic as possible. Edited May 3, 2020 by 361st_Ripper* 4 1
No.23_Gaylion Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 If you want more WWI tracks I will be happy to provide.

336th_Ripper* Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 (edited) Well folks, we are not all fans of all movies or film makers. I hope you like my point of view of the this event! The film is not perfectly smooth as I would like it. I normally get 60FPS as my card is only GTX 970, but I filmed it at 30FPS. Overall it’s fine. Edited May 4, 2020 by 361st_Ripper* 7
JimTM Posted May 4, 2020 Author Posted May 4, 2020 Great video Ripper. You really captured the fun vibe of the event.
336th_Ripper* Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 (edited) Thanks Jim, that’s what I was aiming for. It made me realize that filming close to the ground with many moving objects requires me to record at 60FPS instead of the 30 fps which is borderline with my current GTX970 4G. I am finally going to upgrade it! Edited May 4, 2020 by 361st_Ripper*
Stoopy Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 Class video Ripper! Great job, it almost brought a tear to my eye! (sniff) ???
336th_Ripper* Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 (edited) Thanks @=[TIA]=Stoopy I tried to fit everything in their in one 4 minute song, but that was close to impossible without missing out on some cool flying. I did a lot of Formation flying back in the older Il2 platform as a proud Canadian Snowbird! which btw is the reason I chose the last two tracks from his video I recorded back in 1987 on a VHS cassette of our fine Canadian Snowbirds! No kidding?! I was aware of you guys back in the IL2 1946 days and was a big fan - you were an inspiration to me to try online formation flying! Very cool, Ripper!

Like you see in the pic, we used to fly with another Blue Angels Formation Team. I lost all my content years ago when I did not back up a hard drive! I just have a handful of pictures left!
