Heliopause Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 Just a couple of tiny things I noticed that are incorrect. 1 - Kluis airstrip was situated in The Netherlands (not Germany as mentioned); 2- Skin of Dutch East Indies Spitfire: Roundels on wing (top and bottom) are incorrect and should be positioned as on fuselage.
jollyjack Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 (edited) If you've got a picture of one i can try to make a better skin? BTW the Dutch KNIL generals in the west Indies were real ass holes, not better than any Nazi IMO. My uncle was there as drafted 18 year old soldier, and tore up his citizen ship and moved to Australia after the stint, never came back. Edited April 10, 2020 by jollyjack
Heliopause Posted April 15, 2020 Author Posted April 15, 2020 The Spit skin is in the game. Only to be altered by the devs I guess.
1CGS LukeFF Posted April 15, 2020 1CGS Posted April 15, 2020 @ICDP would be the one you want to contact about getting this updated.
ICDP Posted April 15, 2020 Posted April 15, 2020 Apologies for the rookie mistake. I have submitted a fixed version of the skin to the developers. Hopefully they will find time to add it to a future update. 1
iQtje50 Posted May 14, 2020 Posted May 14, 2020 (edited) Hey...just been flying the Spit IX in the "East Indies" paint scheme and couldn't help but notice that the roundels on the wings are upside down. As a Dutch pilot this is very annoying. Same with the registration on the right side fusalage...it should read H ... 60, not 60 ... H. I and my fellow Dutch pilots would be very pleased if this could be corrected. Picture 1 shows the incorrect & picture 2 shows the correct configurations of the wing roundels. Thanx in advance. Heliopause Posted September 18, 2020 Author Posted September 18, 2020 Somebody took the time to correct the wing roundels. Thanks! However the red should be where the blue is and vice versa ......?? (as on fuselage). Current situation
