IL-2 Sturmovik: Flying Circus - Volume I giveaway

Dear pilots,

first and foremost, my thanks go to the development team for offering us the promo codes during this madness period ?

I ended up with the promo code for BoBP and FCvol1 since I already have both. Therefore, I decided to support the devs by buying the FCvol1 copy and give it to one community member.

circus_1_MSG8jr1.jpg

So here we go - the rules:

1) the subscription is opened until this Friday 27 March 2020 midnight (UTC time);

2) subscribe by expressing a clear intention to participate (and perhaps also say why; though it is not compulsory ?);

3) you do not own the FCvol1 yet;

4) you really MEAN to play the FCvol1 (so those who just want to give it a try, please do not participate).

That's it. I take all the participants who expressed their interest by this Fri midnight (UTC time), randomly select one and announce the winner here in this thread.

Thanks for participating and hopefully making the FCvol2 a reality one day ?

Milan

PS: I wholeheartedly recommend Pat Wilson's PWCG to generate campaigns for the FCvol1. If you can, please support his work.

Hi Apollon01 - clear intention to participate in your awesome giveaway of FC1. Was a keen RoF pilot 'back in the day' and very keen to get involved in the 'newer' Flying Circus. Especially now since I have moved to VR since I played WWI flight sim last, so super keen to experience these aircraft in VR! Would have purchased with the 50% code but also wanted BoBP pretty bad.

Cheers ?

edit: now I got one so no need to participate anymore.

Good luck for everyone!

First I want to said you thanks for this givaway, It’s amazing the engagement of this community with this simulator. I’m starting with IL2 GB but, of course  I would like fly in a Sopwith Camel or the famous Fokker Dr I, two of my favorites planes. Good luck to everyone ?

I would love to receive FC v.1 as I do not own it yet. I have friends that own it and I want to join them in the campaign they participate in with the Jasta 1 unit. They even made a skin for me already so it would be great to win this prize if you would consider me of course. I have many hours and experience in the ww2 side but I also want to see how I can get better and adjust my tactics in ww1. I am sure if I win, I can greatly contribute to ww1 MP experience.

Cheers

All in, Apollo. This gives me an excuse to buy von Rickenbecker's SopGrip Mk1. I used to play Ace of Aces: Handy Rotary which was a clever WWI dogfight game using booklets. That was a hoot. Look forward to giving observation balloons what for.

Cheers, mate.

Well. I grew up in Wisconsin. I had the privilege of watching the cropdusters do their thing every summer. Old fighter pilots from WWII and Nam would get a 6 pack of beer in em, go out to the barn, and fire up their old Bi planes. They would then go do mild aerobatics while also doing a very important job, dusting the crops. Flying just high enough to not hit the corn tassles themselves. True Barnstormers. That addon would give me the ability to fly just like those pilots did. By the seat of their pants, with the wind in their hair.

No, I dont have this one.

Hello apollon01, I appreciate your kindness and surely this FC vol1 will lay in the proper hands,  whoever receives it, expanding the playerbase. I don't own it yet and I'm not sure when I'm going to get it, I wish to participate in the giveway so I could finally join my squadmates, who created a simulated unit, Jasta 11, within our squadron to fly on Flying Circus Flugpark server and specially on the Campaigns such as Flanders in Flames and other tournaments. Nonetheless hopefully FC community keeps growing and we get soon Vol.2.

Cheers

Throwing my hat into the ring here; love WW1 flight - have and still love RoF but willing to move on/ahead a little bit and would be more than happy to be shot down by many, many people in order to promote and expand the multiplayer base.  Just want my big, goofy floatplanes.

I would love to fly in WW1 but cannot afford to buy FC.  I used to have loads of books about WW1 fighters as a child (still have most ? ) and when I first started flying online it was in 'Dawn Of Aces'

For an college student from the working class who had bought Stalingrad, Moscow, Kuban, Bodenplatte and the Ju-52
its always an huge amount of money. Even with 50%-Promo-Code its always thinking about buying one of this
well simulated masterpieces or buying some food. ?
You may have pity on me ?

Greetings from Germany

I finally found a giveaway that isn't already over! I played a quite a bit of RoF and have been meaning to purchase FC but something always comes. I would love to participate in this giveaway as my 20th birthday was this Tuesday and I just haven't been able to do much of anything to celebrate because of this virus. :)

I am just eaten up with IL2. I played the original version back in the day and just discovered this again last month. I am planning on getting FCvol1 at some point. I love this community and this game.

Very generous of you :)

I'd like to participate in the giveaway draw. I am a VR pilot and i think WW1 is perfect for VR. I was a bit saturated from IL2 lately and ventured to other games. But this would definitely bring me back in my virtual cockpit ?

Great gesture and very generous of you.

Would love to have it.

Still flying RoF currently. Been buying the aircraft one or two at a time whenever they go on sale and only 3 or so before I have all of them BUT due to current world crisis our exchange rate makes this last purchase impossible. Never mind picking up my next planned move to FC vol 1.

I split my flying 50/50 between RoF and IL2 and cannot choose a favorite as they are both stunning.

Thank you all for participating in the draw. It is great to see such an interest in WWI stuff ?

I am happy to announced that @Jmo has been just sent the licence key.

Happy landings and perhaps see you at the next similar occasion ?

Thank you! I saw earlier that you won the March draw for BoN, lucky man.

 Thank you once again @apollon01 for the gift! I'm already side slipping away in the Dr1, I forgot just how much fun it was!
