Half Life Alyx (VR)

I received my controllers during the week and set them up yesterday to fire up Half Life Alyx. I’m impressed and so is the wife, who isn’t into VR or video games in general. Valve have a hit with this one. I really need a second base station now. They are still out of stock.

How much room do you need for play ....

Is it possible just sit in chair , or you have to moving around ???

Finally made it all the way through to the end, great ending and many hours of enjoyment with this one! 

@Niiranen-VR yes no problem playing seated, I played it seated all the way through.

Just got this game from Steam, only I never did play any shooter game, so like to know is there any good and simple tutorial on how to get starting. Bit boring walking around the balcony.

There are several around but it's fun to try and work it out first. Remember that just about everything is usable, most door handles work, a lot of the switches do things. i found it best to throw away ideas that it was similar to any other game and treat it as if you were actually there thinking it through. It's a fantastic bit of work but does take some time to work out sometimes

Yes this. I too was stumbling when I first got started, but half the fun is trying to work it out on your own.

You can find tips and walkthroughs on the net with a search when you get stumped.

I used the above walk through when needed, however again I would stress to try best to figure out on your own everywhere you can.

Whenever I get my new Reverb G2 I will be having another play through with Alyx. Love that game.

I know must be great to figure that out if you are an gamer that do have experience in other games, but I never did play any thing else then a couple of combat flysims and 2 racesims, so in this perspective its rather difficult to figure that out, but the IGN.com tips are very welcome to start.

Yep, have fun, it's a great game, I still play it and find new things to look at and do just based on "I wonder what happens if i do this...",
