cardboard_killer Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 Requim's video on how to fly the P-38 says to open the intercooler for takeoff, but I don't see a P-38 intercooler mapping area, unless the radial engine intercooler for the p-47 is what to use. There is a post in the bug reports that the intercooler doesn't actually affect anything, under 4.001. Anyone have any tips about it?

Right now the intercoolers are always automatic with no option to manually control them. The P-38J documents I have say that if the intercooler flaps are installed, they should be set to open. I included that in the checklist to future proof the video as I was expecting it to have manual controls added in the future (and I try to base my videos off RL documentation wherever possible). 2 1
Blasterlasvideo Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 Thanks for getting clarification on this cardboard_killer. As you can imagine, I was wondering the very same thing for the last few days.
