the_dudeWG Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Any help from my fellow skin creators would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!
J5_Adam Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 I’m not a PS expert by any stretch of the imagination but are you using the “embedded Colour profile”? 1

Unfortunately, I was doing exactly that. By default Photoshop turns off notifications of color profile discrepancies when opening new files. I turned them on and I can see that the templates that were giving me trouble were saved as Adobe RGB (1998), while the ones that worked well were sRGB. I think I'm back in business! 1
No.23_Triggers Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 Also experienced this - I have far less skinning knowledge than yourself, but my 'quick fix' has been just to eyeball it with the Viewer...it's a bit of a longer process but you get there in the end 1 1
the_dudeWG Posted February 6, 2020 Author Posted February 6, 2020 Yeah, @US93_Larner, I was curious about your experience so I checked out your AD5 template. As it turns out your template doesn’t have an embedded profile, so it should work well for any user ... which is probably how all templates should be distributed. S!
No.23_Triggers Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 Huh! Who woulda thunk it? Just made that one to fill the gap while the Official 4K template was prepared!
