Spacebomber Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 Hi everyone! I tried setting a target to a command: attack area, i could't set it with the cursor, so i set another way, but my cursor is stuck in the target mode. It also happened when I tried to calculate the route at a plane, the cursor got stuck. How can I fix this? I tried pressing every mouse key. The only thing that seems to work is closing the program and restarting it. Oh and I can't select objects from the map and can't create anything. Thanks in advance!
JimTM Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 Press the ESC key to get your cursor out of target mode. For basic editor skills, read Chapter 2 in the editor manual. Here are some topics in that chapter that may help: Create a Target Link Using the Keyboard (pg. 19) Find Distance and Flight Time for a Route in the View Port (pg. 18) - Route Time field (pg. 214) - Measure Mode (pg. 196) Sorry, there are too many jumps to other topics in this procedure so it's confusing. Place an Object Icon or MCU Icon in the View Port (pg. 15) For your problem where you cannot select an object, see "Cannot Select an Icon in the View Port" (pg. 182). 2
JimTM Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 By the way, there are more editor resources under "Mission Editor and Multiplayer Server Guides" in the IL-2 Resources post. 1
