Alexmarine Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 TBH, kinda wish for a red strike aircraft too, of course no way we are going to get anything newer than the 90s but would like to get a Su-7, a Su-17/22 or a MiG-27... Even a chinese Q-5
Gambit21 Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Fitter is in production, so coming...eventually.

The maps they’re making; it’s like pinning the freakin’ tail on the donkey. At some point some one with the capabilities to do it must make a Vietnam map. It’s just the law of averages!

DBFlyguy Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 (edited) Whenever Multi-core comes, it'll be a definite improvement and give them even more ability to improve the sim even further, its just nice to see an update on it. RedeyeStorm Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 (edited) Well there are a lot of interesting planes announced. Presumably development has to proceed to a certain early stage before the 3rd party knocks on EDs door. Some of those aircraft could be years away. Given that, if an F-105 was in the works we should know quite early in its development - that there isntan announcment now means nothing really - ED has to put somewthing in their newsletters given their glacial pace of core develpment so may well be keeping stuff back in order to have something to say.

If they only release four modules a year, and there are about 20 modules announced, that has us looking at 2027. Oy vey! ? Perhaps I should take this opportunity to announce I'm building a B-21 with a map of Asia as a bundle. I see Q3 2036 as a target date. Here's a shot of my progress to tide you over. Proceed with caution. ⚠️ 2
Eisenfaustus Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 The multi core improvements sound interesting - If they improve performance as advertised I‘ll have to reconsider getting wwii stuff for dcs. Dogfighting around reasonable B-17 just sounds awesome. Were there any news regarding their dynamic campaigns?

A developer planting a flag is not related to an announcement/when it occurs FYI. A developer can choose to wait quite some time before announcing. This was the case with the F-4. There’s another one too that’s a lot further along than you think it is. Edited December 4, 2022 by Gambit21
