Hello,

Here is my first skin for a Mitchel2 B25.

For a test it is fictional, but inspired by photographs of the 320 (Dutch) squadron but without representing a real plane.

But as close as possible to historical reality
I chose a period in autumn 1944 when the DDay strips have just been erased.
I am looking for photographs of Mitchel 2 in Holland between September 1944 and April 1945 to realize a series of skins usable in the modcarriere of BOPB

Oops ... I forgot to specify, you have to create the folder in the "skins" folder of "graphics".

IL-2 \ data \ graphics \ skins

a folder named "B25Draf" and put the file in it.

Hello,

A new version slightly improved by the addition of 2 layers of filters which homogenizes the whole and better integrates the markings of nationality and squadron with the whole of the skin, eliminates an impression of plating of the badges and letters on the painting camouflage.

The rest of the colors and Alpha layer have not been changed.

 

So this is the definite version of this skin

Marco, great B25 skins. Could you also do a more or less generic one for VVS? Then we at least would have one skin for a possible lend-lease B25 and can integrate that into MODS for BoS and BoK?

I will make you a generic B25C skin for VVS with pleasure.

Tell me for what date you want this because I am quite busy this June.

Do you have a specific campaign theme or squadron ???.

Would you like a black underwear for the night camouflage which is most common on the Soviet B25

 

I will be very tempted to make you the skin with a gray underside of the 1st profile which corresponds well to the B25c, the others are B25 J

Hi Marco, that is very kind. No rush, take your time. Your suggestion will do fine. Just something generic, so that the game doesn´t have to pull the RAF skin anymore. I plan to partly supplement some VVS A-20 squadrons with B25s in BoS and BoK.
