@Hien-0_1*

I'm looking for some more documentation about 7J-N. I just have a profile and it lacks precision.

May be you've got something to show me ?

I like the blurred background in that screen. Nice effect.

@PatCartier; Gotta admire your screenies for 506th FS, 404th FG VOL 7 and 8 pack. They remind me of the box-art for model kits from the 70's and mind wise they take me back to the happier care-free times as a kid. :salute:

Hi all,

it's not really a problem but you're in the 404 Fighter Group topic...Didn't know there was some VVS crew in there ?

I had missed these latest ones... Thank you!! Absolutely beautiful and BIG thanks to create 4 planes from each squadron! I can use these in missions to represent flights from different squadrons.

Still WIP but more accurate.

@PatCartier

Could you please be so kind as to make this last version of Maggie Zass also available for us? :)

The Axis and Allies Paintworkshop donload contains only the earlier version, not this one.

Your P-47 skins are among my favourites! :fly:

Do you have the ability and desire to make blank skins to fit career (p47d28_blank_01.dds, p47d28_blank_02.dds, p47d28_blank_03.dds, p47d28_blank_04.dds, p47d28_blank_05.dds, p47d28_blank_06.dds)? Without additional pictures, only with and without invasion stripes. After your skins, others seem like toys. :)

My Dad flew three P-47's with the 508th FS. His id was 7J-V and 7J-W. There is a photo online taken in 1945 of a Bubble Canopy P-47 with 7J-V markings. Dad flew his 55 missions and returned to the States in late 1944. The pictured plane has a different serial number on the tail, so it must have been a replacement due to battle damage. The first 7J-W was replaced with the 2nd due to battle damage. I don't think Dad had any markings or a name on his aircraft. The 404th FG published a book, "Leap Off" which can be downloaded from several different web sites. Love the art work. The book has a lot of pictures of the actual aircraft and photos of the pilots. A lot of history.

Seems a challenge to locate the book/document.

closest I have so-far is here:

Was it ever released? Do you have a working link?

Cheers.
