4.003 import older group files impossible?

Hi, i tried to load some of Coconut's older group files, but they are not recognized in 4.003.  Any information on that?

They might have some properties missing in the objects.

so they won't work anyway. and i can throw them away?

Don't know for sure, because I haven't taken a look at them. @coconut Do you happen to have those groups stored in a more recent format?

Have you tried Tools > Resave All Groups in Folder?

As IL2 is in perpetual evolution those who publish group or mission files should check at each new update if it is compatible and if not then republish an updated version. 

This is theory or wishful thinking. You need time for that type of support, and there may be periods where we have none available, some have maybe left IL2, etc.. Even Devs have difficulties to follow up ?

nope, tried it, surprise: ......... the FMB crashes to the desktop each time i do that !

 

EDIT Also with 4.004 ....
