DragonDaddy Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 Greetings When I log in I get this error message: “1. No connection with authorization server. 2. Your connection to Master-Server was temporarily lost. Check your internet connection.” My internet is fine. I can get online with other simulators and websites. I haven’t changed any settings or added hardware. I can access IL2 offline. This problem, like many computer problems, just happened. One day I could get online, next day not possible. I did a search for this problem but didn’t find a viable solution. I did see one instance when others complained of this and it was confirmed to be a server error. I don’t see any news that there is currently a server issue. If anyone knows how to resolve this, your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
busdriver Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 @DragonDaddy I just checked and got no error message. Confirm you were able to get online yesterday? A previous work around included deleting the "updates" folder in the game directory (Depending on your install preference it may look something like Local Disk (C:) > IL-2 Sturmovik > updates) then restarting using the Launcher app and not the IL-2 exe.
DragonDaddy Posted December 12, 2019 Author Posted December 12, 2019 Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem. Anyone else?
Yogiflight Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 I had this issue yesterday, too. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not. As I was playing PWCG, I didn't bother much about.
RedKestrel Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 Whenever I get this message, I just have to click Log In again once or maybe a few more times and it works. Seems to be a weird bug, lots of people were getting it.
DragonDaddy Posted December 13, 2019 Author Posted December 13, 2019 I’ve tried multiple attempts, at different times, but still unable to get online. Additional suggestions are welcome.

DragonDaddy Posted December 15, 2019 Author Posted December 15, 2019 (edited) Sent a ticket to support two days ago and suddenly the problem is gone. Didn’t hear back from them, don’t know if they did anything. I can now get online again and that’s all I needed. Thanks to those who offered solutions, and to Support if you fixed this for me.
