adler_1 Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 (edited) i have'nt found on youtube an engine management video for this aircraft . Does anyone have a a tutorial on engine management please . oil , water , mixture , turbo or boost etc . I have been able to adjust only the prop rpm . other keys don't respond to water or oil and i cannot find the turbo switch and how to use it . No problem with the VB , the water rad , prop pitch and boost work fine . Edited December 9, 2019 by dog1
ZachariasX Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 It‘s automatic. You can override certain settings for testing purposes, but in flight you are not supposed to. Throttle and RPM is all you use normally.
SvAF/F16_Dark_P Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 (edited) Dont know how good they are for the ingame Mk IX, aircraft in game can often be pushed more, but i like to immerse myself when flying so i like to follow the irl manuals and i have shoot down people online so i guess it works decent ? Here's the entire pilot notes then; Pilot_Notes_-_Spitfire_IX,_XI,_XVI.pdf I tend to do the same in game as @Dark_P states also. And that data seems to work a charm when in game, the engine modes the game states switch between cruising/combat/emergency as you switch between the continuous/climbing/combat settings that the notes state.
