Is it possible to mod the QMB so aircraft can have different skins?

It may sound odd but the QMB is great for having some fun and yet there is a weird omission in that you can only choose one skin for your flight of aircraft! 

 

So if you flight has 4 aircraft they all have the same custom skin which sadly looks awful! 

 

Just wondering if it would be possible to somehow mod the interface so each aircraft could have it's own custom skin?

Sadly, this would involve changes to the code and is hence not possible to mod.

You can make your plane skin and armament different to the rest of your flight, by changing your planes skin just before  Flight Start.

The rest of the flight will be as they were. At least you stand out and it's easier for you if you fly on auto and are flicking through the flight externally you can find your plane.

Yep, but that is pretty much the same situation. 

I have four paintschemes of the 325th FG, I can fly as one and I want the rest to have a different skin. Currently they all have the same skin but then your method is (appreciated) a similar result in that it doesn't depict a Wing/Flight or group

I am also disappointed. As an owner of every previous incarnation of IL2 . I agree with your situation. Having whole squadrons of schemes and the inability to use them.

What is the situation in CoD. (I have it but cannot get it to play!)
