Control settings changing on their own

Input binding for zoom resets itself to default mouse wheel all on it's own.

 

I noticed this happening twice while trying to cure another problem and even mentioned it here but I held off on initiating a bug report for it as I hadn't seen it happen again, till today when it happened repeatedly. Enough for me to take the unusual measure of setting the current.map file to read only.

 

I have no idea whats causing this to happen, all I now know is that it is happening with regularity and figured it was time to report it.
