Thanks Jaeger.

Could I make a request?

A "generic 402nd" version of vivacious virgin with just the spinners, squadron codes & tail circle would be be very welcome to flesh out some of my flights with; if there were to be an OD version too, well my cup overfloweth… ??

Anything on the nose? Red gun ports, cannon cowl, or just plain?

Your welcome. Here is another new one. Plane of Deputy Commander Seth McKee

I changed the kill markings to match a different version that is a little more commonly referenced than the photo I did the original one from.

I will release all the skins together when my P-38 Campaign is done. It will be a separate download from the campaign because of size. I have added a few more I need to update, I think about 15 in all. It's enough for 3 complete flights plus some extras and a few generics with the 485th Squadron Insignia.

I am finishing Mission 23 out of 25 and then some testing, so i think fairly soon.

Jaegermeister,

Looking forward to your missions and the P-38 skins.  I’ve enjoyed your other campaigns a great deal and expect this one to be up to same quality and depth.  Thanking you in advance.

@Falcon41, This one will be better. My knowledge of the ME has improved significantly over the last 6 months, and the mission logic is much better now, mostly due to the things I have learned from the people here on this forum. It's done, and I am going back through each mission and fine tuning. I am almost half way through that process, and I am very excited to get it finished.

I am not going to promise short missions, or anything super creative, but it is very closely based on real events during the Battle of Aachen, the fight through the Hurtgen forest, and the Battle of the Bulge that stopped only 4 miles short of the 370th airfield at Florennes. It will end with the last mission on January 1st, 1945. (Go figure). It's 25 missions in length.

Once it's done, I am sending it to Jason to see if he will encode it for distribution or not. They are a busy team, so I don't know.

Hi Jaeger.

My squad are flying a PWCG co-op campaign as the 402nd and 485th during the push to the Rhine.

Was wondering if you had the time and the inclination to make some 485th generics in the same vein as the 402nd you most graciously furnished me with?

If not, no worries and thanks for your efforts thus far.

As an aside, found another 402nd FS aircraft and though it's from before your time reference, I thought it's a nice scheme and you might want to bend the rules to include it

Jaegermeister,

Any recent news about the release of your newest campaign?  Have you sent it to Jason yet? I guess all this waiting around what with the Corona virus has got us all a bit impatient.  Looking forward to your newest campaign.  I've been playing around with a small campaign for the P-40 featuring the activities of the Tuskeegee Airman.  Because our maps don't include North Africa, Sicily or Italy I'm using the Kuban map as in my estimation it has the water and mountains needed for an approximation of those areas.  Rap has provided me with a number of skins used by the 99thFS of the 332 nd FG and things are coming along reasonably well, but just about the time I feel good about using the ME, I hit a snag.  It takes a lot of patience to learn how to use the ME.

     Take care and stay safe.

Use the link in the post above yours for the Campaign post and the link to download the skins is right below the Banner Picture "Skin Pack"

Hi Jaeger.

I am curious about the '7F-J' skin, did it really feature the Jägermeister (as your avatar) icon? I know it's based on two Christian patron saints of hunting, but have struggled to find any historical source.

Cheers!
