Did you try the solution located here?:
 

Of note, I had to do this and delete my startup.cfg file (or something similar, it was a while back now). Check further comments in the thread, the solution worked for most people but some people like me had to take extra steps.

Please be careful with deleting or modifying game files, back up files elsewhere before you delete in case it makes it worse.

The exe in the bin gets around it but then gets the "connection to master server lost" when hitting the green enter button. :(

Tried with 3.102 launcher  fix , copied both files but still no luck with launcher - checking update -> failed to updates ! 

Devs please fix it. @Sneaksie

Sent a mail for support and received the standard sollution: delete everything in the bin/updates folder and start launcher again.

It doesn't work this time! 

Even tried with the 3.102 launcher fix... nothing!

 

I can start the sim though. Created a short cut on the desk top of the IL-2.exe. Of course this works, but if there should be any updates... problems....

 

But, guys... I am sure this will be solved! When there is hope, there is life!

Start your game with the Restarter  , it works !

Tried the proposed fix, didn't work. Would be nice though to be able to start the game "properly" and to stay up to date.

Of course the Restarter works, so does the IL-2.exe, but the use of the Launcher.exe is obvious. When there are updates available, they will be downloaded and installed first. So, when starting up the game, everything is up to date. If the launcher isn't working properly, updating could become a problem.

I hope there will be a fix available one of these days...

The Launcher works fine again (me me at least)! It did some file analysis and updated. Hopefully all other with problems have the same experience...?
