According to reports, the British Ace miraculously survived a mid-air collision during a dogfight over allied lines, escaping unscathed.

That's news to me. ?

Scoreboard's pretty fiddly to alter...sometimes someone erroneously ends up "dead" or "Captured" prematurely ;)

.. actually I am quite suprised about such a low number of Camel pilots on missions, otherwise my flight time in the Dr.1 would be higher.

April is very interesting, ideed :)

This i don't mind flying Camel.

I was hopping to fight more t&b against Camels in Dr1 but i ended flying  more Fokker D7s because all just boom and  zoom&run in Se5as/Spads or Bristols as they should ofc.

BTW Dr1 engine can be blow up much easier than Camels one. Camel is deadly beast guys ?

Can it? I'll trust your word but I've found Camel engine way more easy to randomly blow when you drop the nose down...I've never had it happen to me in a Dr.I. Triplane's engine can't take a hit, though...

...but what do I know? I'm just a SPAD pilot ?

What? I was under the impression that these were all just Fokker fodder? There's an entire thread about just how bad the SEva is.

Oh, I have - I'm typically the training night "Target Tug" for the 3rd PG...I know aaaaaallllll about getting kicked around by BnZers in that thing! And with the new wings the Parachute is the best part of that plane.

...but it's not the Albs I'm worried about!!

We should switch sides for the last two missions of Bloody April so we can get a much better understanding of the Entente woes......

That would be cool! And we'd get to experience the Alby woes, too - but you need to be 'F'd for the full Entente experience hahah!

I think that our decision to switch the sides for a month gave us a new point of view. Flying Centrals is very demanding in some areas and of course there are pros and cons. Anyway, you learn more about the strong and the weak points of the planes.

I tried one time, but this plane had such a terribly simulated cockpit that I exchanged it for P3 with joy )

Imagine if the Entente had parachutes. 103 Bear would have at least a 150 streak, Larner well into his 200th and the 1PL's would be ongoing from the start.

If somebody is bothered enough by the historical imbalance of Germans having parachutes, and Entente not having parachutes, then they simply can fly German.
