Wyatt Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 neither project is on steam. Might be a good idea to put up a steam page so people can put it on their wishlists. Its free marketing!
Talon_ Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 Stalingrad is on Steam. Ideally @Jason_Williams can convince Valve that Bodenplatte is a new version rather than a DLC because nothing will move copies of this game faster than a picture of the P-51D on the Steam homepage. 1

How about releasing the winter version of the new map first? ? Edited October 10, 2019 by -[HRAF]BubiHUN

I'm sure you mean Po-2? 1

I never thought of kuban as a "dlc" when it was so fleshed out. To call bodenplatte a DLC is wrong. Its an entirely new theater with new planes.

If they call it a seperate game, then Steam will handle it like a game that has nothing to do with Battle of Stalingrad and the other extensions. It will be like a game from another producer.
Ribbon Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 Maybe Jason can just put p51 pic on Battle of Stalingrad cover and problem solved? Seriously maybe they can rename steam title to il2:Great Battles and put cover pic with various theatre planes (Spit, p51,109, yak)!

There are plenty of other game DLCs out there which add new campaigns/missions, new regions/theatres/countries/locations, and new planes/cars/trucks/whatever. Bodenplatte is hardly unique in that sense. I don't think it really matters anyway, to be honest. Those who care will already know BP is in the works, and when it's finished it'll be on Steam anyway. 1
