We just turned on 3.201b hotfix that addresses the following problems: 1. The cooperative mode works now. 2. Clicking the Spectate button before airfields finished loading in Dogfight multiplayer won't cause a problem. 3. 'Simplified physiology' option is turned OFF at Normal difficulty level (so all fatigue effects are working at this difficulty level).4. A bug that could trigger aircraft repair anywhere, even during a flight, after leaving a service area has been fixed. 5. The trimmer

Dear friends, Having observed very differrent responses to the visibility change yesterday which returned to more realistic values, we have decided to add a new difficulty option called 'Alternate visibility'. It is turned on on Normal difficulty and turned off on Expert, you can also set it on or off on Custom difficulty. It can be also set by a multiplayer server owner.   In addition, we addressed several other bugs which were found: aircraft rearming in MP works fine, windshiel

This update has so much stuff in it. Wow. I really hope the servers take advantage of the refuel/re-arm/repair. Will make TAW and Combat Box more interesting :D

Typo on the Steam announcement:

 

Sturmovik Steam users do not despair! All of this will be included when be bring Battle of Bodenplatte, Flying Circus and Tank Crew to Steam

23. Aircraft and ships are visible much farther than before - theoretically, they can be spotted as far as 100 km away if there are fire, contrails or a ship wake;
24. New 'Distant buildings' option added;

Alas immediately a question already came up:

After looking around it seems there's space for a .dds custom photo in the texture folder of each separate plane! 
So for instance:
"SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\graphics\Planes\TempestMkVs2\Textures\custom_photo.dds"

It was, the only Bodenplatte version available now is Premium that includes P-38 and 109 D-9.

Standard edition of Bodenplatte isn't for sale yet, so if you've bought Bodenplatte now, you should have the P-38J as well.

If you pre-ordered Bodenplatte then you already have the premium edition and therefore have the P-38. They don't make the standard edition open for preorder.
EDIT: I see that you have been reassured very quickly by many people!

Only a few thins left for Bodenplatte now - some final tweaks and career mode.

now i can say the mustang whistle is in. the mustang has the 150 octane option too. shes a lot better and more fun to fly than I thought.

Holy Night…!

I was watching YOUTUBE-video's about Flight Sim pre-alpha (looks amazing, BTW..), so i found out just few min's ago about this. Downloading now. No sleep  tonight. Can't wait..
