The Comanche is together with the map something I really miss.  I will wait and maybe never buy 2024. I can’t figure out what’s going on there. Some say it’s moved more to console gaming others say it’s bugged and other again says it’s fine. 
But I don’t trust «others» I have no idea what expectations and experience they have. All I know is I am pampered and have sky high expectations to any new sim game. In special if I have to upgrade for 10 grand the way thing are going. Nice pictures

It’s getting there....slowly.  To be fair to the devs, they've basically admitted that they've had a big failure of project management. What they thought would be easy and straightforward has turned out to be anything but that.

However, it is improving and it is progressing. 2024 performs better for me than 2020 but the one consistent feature of MSFS is...inconsistency 🤨. 

 

Free flight works well with no real problems 

 

The career mode - which has become very popular - has plenty of bugs. There are a few things in career mode I'd be interested in doing but like early GBS you have to grind through a lot of nonsense to unlock this stuff so I'm giving it a miss.

Whilst 2024 has certainly been designed to be more console friendly it certainly hasn't dumbed down the overall flight sim experience. 

I remain unconvinced by the 'thin client' streaming model but it certainly does reduce the footprint of the game. I think base MSFS 2020 is around 180 gig on disk drives whilst 2024 is 50 ish. 

What really needs to happen is the ability to have all aircraft on the clients PC instead of being streamed.

This will happen but at the moment it's another item in a very long list of things to be fixed.

 

It can still be a huge exercise in frustration but it's one of those cases of once you've seen it, you can't unsee it...🤔

If I remember correctly this is a old module with good rating. I was about to buy it just because its looks odd and is a trimotor.

I personally like it @Lusekofte it's fairly cheap , quirky comes with a few liveries and MSFS 2024 compatable i believe.

Despite all the moaning and groaning, if you use free flight and understand how to make use of the wide choice of settings you can have a wonderful experience in MSFS 2024.

Back in April the developers announced it would be released on 2024 first, followed shortly afterwards by a release on 2020.

Both versions of MSFS support VR James.

No, I think they're actually close now. 

'Close' as in this year.

From their Discord it appears they're looking for release partners and how to sell it through the in-sim Marketplace.

I'm planning on buying t one of the versions of MSFs as mentioned above , primarily to "fly" this Microprose B-17 ( along with other WW2 aircraft,)before it eventually is released ( whenever that might be???)😎 in The Bloody 100th VR. My question : is there one of the three versions I should consider over the others? They are all on sale now, but I don't want to over spend on a version I won't be using all that much compared to ,say,Great Battles?
