New Here - Just picked up FC

Hi All,  Just picked up Flying Circus. I don't have any other of the WW2 mods yet. Any good guides that I can check out? I'm an old hand with the original IL-2 but it's been years!

Single Player to get my bearings but Multiplayer eventually.

 

Is there any place that lists what items are still not in the beta? For example I can't seem to find the Arras Sector Map.

We have all the planes now, just waiting for the map.

Yes, we just have the planes for now (you can fly them in any map available I think). The map might arrive in the third quarter, or beginning of 2020. I'm not sure. Keep an eye on the latest posts of the Developer Diary. You can also get some pointers in this thread. Regarding planes manuals or how to fly them, check the ROF forum (create a profile if you need), because they are just porting the same flight models from ROF. Here we are just getting the map, different graphics (some damage model changes) and VR basically. So whatever you find there in terms of controls and key bindings you can apply here. We here just don't have personalized curves for the controls (rudder, ailerons, etc.). Just the standard ones (straight / curved).

 

A good section for beginners is the support section, with manuals and faqs and the Useful Materials section. Some people ported the skins to here as well, but they are darker (different game engine) and require some tweaking. 

 

In case you don't find something in particular, ask your doubts and people will try to help.
