Error #10027

Something like "packed data verification error".  

It came out of nowhere. The only thing I did before was working with the mission editor and build my weekly COOP mission.

Maybe the mission you created is throwing it for a loop? No idea, really. I've never used the mission editor. Maybe cross-post this to the mission editor's forum, it might be something they run into when creating missions and campaigns.

Complete reinstall solved it for now.

Hi guys, last few days I played a couple of mission of my career and today I wanted to play another mission, but when I tried to logging in I received this error message (see picture). Whats appened? Why few days ago I played without problems and today I have this issue and I no used the pc from those days?

Ooopsss... sorry guys, maybe a my mistake. After a game client update the game works fine again.

Steam downloaded the latest hotfix today (22/05/20)

When i try to login  I receive the message;

#10027 Packed data verification fail.

Please restore the original packed data files.

How do I do this?

 

Game running now.

Verify your game files in Steam perhaps? Right click on the game entry, properties then local files and there should be a button there to verify them.

HELP !

I have the same problem.

It happened that, while the launcher was performing a long update via Steam (I think 4.006 version, waiting something as 49 min to download...), I had a blackout of electricity. When I turned the computer back on it continued the update from where it was left, but then, at the time of launching the program, the damned error message appeared.
  # 10027 Packed data verification fail.
Please restore the original packed data files.
Now, the problem is: how to restore the previous data?
Every time I reboot the system, we are at the usual point and it doesn't go on.

We must go into Steam and Library and then right click on the name of game >>> properties >>> local files >>> verify.

Wait some minutes however for updating... and all is OK !

After deleting my 'updates' folder I ran the launcher and it fixed this problem after analysing the installed files. It downloaded  and installed the proper files and I was good to go again ...

HI !

Today I also fell victim to bug # 10027. Steam installed some patch and after flying. If there is a repair method that excludes reinstallation, please kindly help me.

 

Thank you for bringing the topic to the right place where I could find help. It turned out that Steam incorrectly updated the game and hence the problem.
