adler_1 Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 i am unable to set the right keys for the cowl flaps both inner and outer . they wont respond when flying online wings of liberty . Can someone pls give me the right manual set up for this aircraft please.
Retnek Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 Hm, might be the good old "both engines active" problem, at least for the upper, little cowl flaps. They won't change when just one engine is chosen as active. And they are ONLY intended for ground-operations, will shake your plane nastily when open in flight. So here it's a bad idea moving those two types of flaps with one pair of keys or joystick knobs. For the larger, lower in-flight cowl flaps there's nothing special I know of.
Cathaoir Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 (edited) Go to settings plane engine controls then Engines inlet cowl shutters control...this controls the A20 upper cowls, and outer cowl shutters control the engine cowls.....Does your setup work on other servers and offline?.....And as Retnek said make sure both engines are selected. adler_1 Posted July 15, 2019 Author Posted July 15, 2019 (edited) how do you select engine one or engine 2 or both without shutting them off ? i think this is why i cant set some keys to individual engines . Online the inlet flaps do respond with CTRL +_ left and right for both engines . no shaking in flight . Edited July 15, 2019 by dog1

They respond only once you´ve selected both engines ("switch-common-control-of-engines-on/off" command). The lower cowl flaps in the A-20 can be cotrolled individually or commonly. Just select engine n° 1 or engine n° 2 or both engines ("switch-engine-n°1/2/3-contol-on/off" command). Same goes for throttle, prop-rpm, mixture, prop featherig and ignition. I hope that helps.
adler_1 Posted July 16, 2019 Author Posted July 16, 2019 oil radiator keys , i have tried setting R/R open close or shift R open close engine 1 and 2 but no response ,which is the right keys for 2 engine bombers ?
