Well due popular demand.....

I set up my PC today (post move) and then downloaded the update, extracted all the official skins for the Schwalbe and historically corrected them.

Due to the faux Haken not being particularly symmetric it took a little more effort to blend in the replacements, but hopefully I was able to pull it off properly, so use the follow links to come get them.

That is brilliant! Thank you.

I have spent the last 48 hours trying to open these .dds files with every paint program and every utility on the web that I could find and got nothing but error messages. I have never had a problem doing this before. What method did you use to access these files?

I managed to open yours without any problem using Photoshop as usual.

I use Photoshop with the nvidia plug-in istalled from the following link:

https://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-texture-tools-adobe-photoshop

Despite what the page says, works fine with CC as well,

I've installed these Me 262 default skins (historically-correct) in the JSGME 'MODS' folder (by adding them to the already existing "4K Default Skin Replacement for BoBP" folder - by adding "Me262A" and "Textures" folders-  and I still get the original default skins (historically-incorrect).

The "me262a.dds" skin shows the historically-correct skin, but the other 10 do not!

I must be doing something wrong!!

Can anyone see what it is that I'm doing wrong - see screenshot of what I've done (below),

Many thanks.

Looking at the swastika on the bare metal skin, it seems like the center (where it was originally censored) still shines like metal. Is there anything you can do?

I'll take a look, my guess is that it's an Alpha layer based issue, that's something I'd not considered looking at when I did the skin but it is the kind of thing that related to bare metal skins.

Cheers
