Is this campaign broken? i deleted the folder and added the new campaign - first try it wouldnt show up at all. Next try i only copied the fgolder "greek fire" in the campaigns folder, this time it showed up: But when starting there is no missions description, and  when clicking "start" nothing happened.

If you open the editor and find the menu called tools there is a option called resave. Use it on the greek fire folder and after it shoud be fine.

Its not much more to it. The mission making editor is found in your il2 installfolder. ?

Jaegermeister, I'm having a problem installing, have tried both just selecting " Battle of Moscow " and also just data files into campaigns but it not showing the campaigns list ?    could you give be the correct installation path

Under your IL2 root directory, locate data, then Campaigns and manually place the whole "Greek Fire" folder into that folder.

 

 

The skin files go into the corresponding data/graphics/skins/plane_xxx.

If you drop all of the individual plane folders into the Skins folder, it will put them all in the right places.

If you drop the entire "Graphics" folder into "data" it will also install them into the correct places.

 

 

If you unzip the entire download file to the main IL2 directory above "data" it will also install everything to the correct locations on it's own. I no longer use self installing .exe files because of the steam directory conflict being in a different location. If you play through Steam, there is a whole different location.

I’m glad you liked it, I really had a good time making that. It’s not how I would do it now, but fortunately it still works after all this time.
 

The Spit Vb has always been one of my all time favorite planes but finding an appropriate map to fly it on is difficult. The best use for it now would be a ‘42 - ‘43 Channel scenario on the Normandy map, but it has very short legs.

Yeah... I accidentally deleted it when I was cleaning up some files. It should be back now. I restored it to the same link.

PS what's the history of the Mc202 RAF still wearing Mussolini's checkered pants?

I have made several 'historical' RAF captured skins and think by now the RAF almost always re-painted their familiar colors on any nazi plane ..

Probably originally served with 151 Squadriglia, 20 Gruppo, 61 Stormo, Regia Aeronautica, januari/1943, Captured at Castel Benito, Italy, and adopted by te 417 Squadron RCAF, Later Coded AN. 3 Sqn RAAF were there at the same time; sources state that RAAF personnel flew this aircraft.

I have updated a few things. Some of the skins are new since I made this and here is a new file that includes the Turkish FW190 skin. I forgot them last time.

 

I am also moving away from MediaFire for Downloads due to the adds. I just updated the file so it is public for anyone who was having an issue with access to download it.
