Hi,

I got a new setup since some time (X65F, VKB pedals) and now I wanted to try the 262 so I downloaded the update and started setting up my controllers. The assignment process worked ok, but I couldn't see any movement when I pressed the curve button. And the same when trying to fly. So assignment works but the controls wont work in game. Please help?

I have a similar issue to you and I haven't found a solution yet.  The update is downloaded, but no button assignments or axis assignments work for any of my gear.  CH Throttle & Quadrant, VKB Pedals, Virpil Joystick.  Windows recognizes everything, and Rise of Flight recognizes everything and works perfectly fine.

I just don't get it =/  Will keep you posted if I figure out a solution.

@Mora, just found this - https://steamcommunity.com/app/307960/discussions/0/1700542332324872903/

Steam>Settings>Controller>General Controller settings and turn off (uncheck) "Generic Gamepad Configuration Support"

i think my problem is related to yours. I wanted to try my new VKB MCG grip that i neglected for years and once I switched it out and changed the firmware for it it was recognized as a whole new stick. IL-2 read this a "joy#11" where as my old stick was "joy#3" and I had the same trouble as you where my axis would bind but would not work in game. I think i remember hearing that IL-2 does not like high joystick numbers but i;m not sure how to change what joystick is what number.

If I search hard enough I might find a fix on this forum but have since switched back to my old grip which works fine again. But good luck to you on finding the fix and hopefully some Devs can give some insight or allude to a possible fix on their end on a future patch.

Yes the controller numbers were 7 and 11 IIRC.

Ok, the answer was in that steam link. I deleted the input folder, remapped and now everything works. Thanks!
