Dear friends,

Today we have finished another huge update and it is already available to you. It includes the new war machines you can control - jet fighter/bomber Me 262 A Schwalbe for Bodenplatte, Т-34-76 made by UVZ factory in early 1943 for Tank Crew - Clash at Prokhorovka and airplanes S.E.5a and Albatros D.Va for Flying Circus - Volume I.

Upping the exterior textures to 4К quality level for Bf 109 F-4 and Fw 190 A-8 are another neat feature, as well as adding visible crews to player controllable Pz.III Ausf.M and M4A2. All VR users get the long-awaited fix of an aircraft propeller that looked distorted with VR reprojection turned on. There are many changes in aircraft and ground AI. The level of detail of player controllable tank systems and their damage model is nearly final. And as usual, there are many improvements in FM and aircraft systems modeling.

9. In VR, active reprojection won't cause a rotating propeller to flicker;

That´s great!

But we will not need this for the Me-262... ?

Mission Editor fails to load any of my missions. I've tried several. I know that I need to "convert all" to binary for the new game version, I will look at doing that, but currently the game editor crashes when I try to load a pre-3.101 mission. Presumably this is not the intended behavior.

Edit: To be clear, unless we can load the missions, none of the multiplayer server admins can add the 262 to their maps...

Edit again: For anyone having difficulty, delete all the old .msnbin files, then load the map in the editor. Works fine.

Does it open your mission if you delete the .msnbin file, leaving the .mission file?

Or run any MP server at all (existing missions need to be resaved)

66. Physical models of all aircraft engines have been revised, many rare bugs were found and fixed;

Could you give us a little bit more information about what changes and fixes were done on the engine?

63. Additional steps were taken that should eliminate a rare problem of another player plane being invisible before opening fire;

Additional steps mean that was solved or not?

Thanks for the asnwers

It means it should be solved, if you don't see this issue on a high load server with lots of players for some time than it is gone.

Whoa!!! Looks bloody excellent!

And did we just see the first step towards full manual startup?

70. All aircraft: when starting or shutting down the engine with all three difficulty options "Cruise control", "Throttle auto limit" and "Engine auto control" turned off you need to move the engine controls during the startup or shutdown procedure yourself;

I don't mind this, but I hope the documentation lets us know what we have to do to get the engines to start (i.e. does Prop RPM need to be fully forward, where to set mixture control, do we have to crack throttle, etc.)

I'm in love with that 262 already, what a beautiful model! SE5a is gorgeous too, it's been far too long since I've flown it.

AI improvements are great, esp for the gunners. The 'realistic delay' between aiming and firing I think shoudl resolve some of those crazy shots that kill you the second you drift into the firing arc.

Of course, flying a Pe-2 won't be quite as survivable either...
