Again, another cool movie. Just ticket for a TAW fix when you've expended your 3 lives  

 

I sometimes see squads like yours forming up on the runway and it gives me the urge to join one, or even form a new one. Flying solo is not the same I don't think.

@Darbzy I was going to ask you if you'd suffered from the cockpit view glitch plague (when using Ctrl+F1) that's been occurring with alarming regularity for a while but I see that you're using VR so I guess it's not affected in replays by the looks?

Check some of these out, it's a real pain for us mere mortals using the ol' 2d!!

Raptor, I get the cockpit view glitch too. What I do is hit F2 and go to external view, then hit F1 and go back to cockpit view and the glitch goes away.

 

I use Shadowplay to record the screen.

Hmmm... and you use VR? The plot thickens!! Yeah, I can use plain old F1, it just happens with CTRL and F1. Useful to know though, that it happens with VR as well so thanks for that and keep up the ol' videos matey!!

Weirdly,  I seemed to lose the Ctl-F1 glitch after the last patch though admittedly I have only made two videos since then due to health issues restricting my flying.

You can always jump on ts and see who’s about. Most people are quite welcoming.

So was I till I realized that this only happens when you reach "lives <=0" according to the post that introduced it. I had something like 0.74 of a life left and managed to fly and die again, now I have 0.42 or something like that   I should have bailed when it caught fire, as it brewed up on me before I could reach the deck. All good fun

I've done that a few times in the past and had some really good spontaneous missions. The lone wolf thing is literally killing me and too fast at that, TS is definitely the way to go.

Now there's a thing I've been meaning to ask and this is probably not the right place to do it, so I'll do some research elsewhere. Another option would be good, as the TAW allied english TS chanel is often empty.

Pretty much is I think, I've yet see it happen where they want to face you, just seem to always sneak up behind, that's why they hate the Peshka rear gunners

Yes, don't use dive brakes on the Peshka.. it just slows you down for the AAA gunners. Even flying with a single wingman helps your chances of survival. NEVER make two runs over a target, NEVER pull up off the target, ALWAYS know your heading back to base before you dive. If you get acquired by the small flak guns, bunt forward under the tracer, try to figure out where Jerry isn't loitering too.... Anyhow, just some free advice and enjoy the flying!
