8ELT_Grzesiek Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 Hi My question concerns colorful navigation points in the shape of broken tears usually visible in yellow color and the landing point usually blue. As you browse through various guides, I can not find it and use it in the editor. Thanks for any help.

Just plop them down, and connect them with target links, also select the colour by editing the RGB in the Icon. Edit: those dont have any other function than to show up on the players map. Thanks for Leon, but I do not mean what you can see on the map, which I can open during the flight seeing the entire route but it is usually yellow points appearing in front of the nose of the plane when you fly on a previously crafted route. I know that these are facilitations for players who do not perform on "expert" servers, but I am still bothering about this matter.

So, as far as I understand, you placed down some Waypoints for players and they wont show up? You can do some things, first check if all player waypoints are object linked to the player (green arrow) . Secondly you need to activate the first waypoint at the start of the mission, for example with a Mission Begin Translator. I´ll attach a example waypoint template you can look at.Kilka_punktow_drogi.zip Edited May 11, 2019 by [N.O.G.F]Leon_Portier
8ELT_Grzesiek Posted May 12, 2019 Author Posted May 12, 2019 To make it clear what I mean, I put a picture
Jaegermeister Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 That is a trigger waypoint. Under MCUs it is at the bottom of the list. Place it on the map and object link it to your plane or your flight leaders. Select target to be the next waypoint or an attack, escort or other command. You have to activate it with something. I generally use an “on takeoff” link from my plane or the flight leader’s for the first WP. You can also use a complex trigger after an attack area command expires or an “on mission begin” translator with a timer to trigger it. The landing waypoint is the same with land selected in the advance properties. This trigger waypoint is also how you control the speed and altitude the autopilot flies. 1
IckyATLAS Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Do not forget to set the altitude (Y coordinate) of the Waypoint Icon to the same value of the one of the corresponding waypoint. If it is 0 or in the ground you may never see them even if they are there.
