Rhythmic Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 (edited) My POV was very Similar to his POV, But look at the 109’s air intake bent tube, it seem like he can move aside further than me on the X-axis, my Trackir setting is defaut so there is No X-axis limits, i have disenable YZ-axis also, but no matter, this isuue definitely can not be solved by enable YZ-axis, actually i can move aside further more if i jettison the canopy. I belive it also prove this isuee is nothing about the X-axis settings, it seems like a in-game view limits. why many others break the rules? And if i want to move aside further more for a better view in this game what shall I do? By the way this guy can move aside more is a very good player, this question is not about cheating, i think he is not a cheater, perhaps a in-game setting is unnoticed? help me. Hawk-2a Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 A lot depends on your heads position in the plane and also zoom. i don‘t think he is closer to the window than you. But maybe he is a big higher up and is zoomed in slightly. Also he might have his head slightly rolled (roll axis for TIR).
Rhythmic Posted April 23, 2019 Author Posted April 23, 2019 but he have disenable yz_axis and his pov was very Similar to me oh he disenable roll_axis also
Hawk-2a Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Well it is hard to tell from screenshots. It looks as if his head is higher up than yours, which gives a slightly better angle to look down. His wing then looks slightly shorter and the window appears to be bigger. He also seems to sit further back than you. The window knobs on your screen look bigger. It might be your mind fooling you... idk.
RedKestrel Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Its going to be really, really hard to compare viewpoints between different setups. So many variables are going to change things. There are restrictions on head movement in game because of the canopy, you can't lean through the canopy no matter what settings you have in TrackIR. For what its worth, when I look at those screenshots I don't think he's actually any closer to the cockpit glass than you are, I think his head is just positioned differently than yours and his zoom level is different. And screen size, settings etc. is going to contribute to how different the POV looks. If you can move further aside when you jettison the canopy, that makes perfect sense. You're head position is bumping the canopy before you jettison, and afterwards your head will move out into the airflow a bit. Actually, you can lean REALLY far out when your plane is on the ground, but once you are flying the game restricts your ability to lean out the window.
Rhythmic Posted April 23, 2019 Author Posted April 23, 2019 (edited) thanks all of you Edited April 23, 2019 by Rhythmic
Soilworker Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I don't know what the others are talking about, in pictures 2 & 4 you can clearly see that his head is closer to the canopy, and is even slightly lower than yours, he is also zoomed in slightly more but it's still clear he's closer. Your other head angles are close enough to his as to not make any difference. (It's also pretty obvious in 1 & 3 I'll add.) As to solving it I'm afraid I have no idea, I play offline in VR so it's a non issue for me.
Hawk-2a Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 You cannot be closer than others. There is a limit as far left or right or up you can go until your head touches the glass. this is simply a matter of different zoom and angles. @RedKestrel is correct: 16 hours ago, RedKestrel said: I think his head is just positioned differently than yours and his zoom level is different.
