switching off siren

i have the siren activated by the Effects MCU  as start which in turn is activated by the checkzone and all is well . How do i stop it setting a time frame ?  i tried with another parallel effects MCU as stop with timer but no response . i  added a complex trigger ,  object leaves ,  and that works . found some old interesting threads here too using  proximity MCU .
