IL2 1946 DCG questions

Trying to use the DCG campaign system in il2 1946 with VP modpack, everything seems to be working fine, however I have a bunch of questions in regards to it, was just wondering where the best place to ask those questions might be. Loving 1946 all the planes and maps, been playing it quite a bit recently.

 

Also quick question, are a lot of the planes not able to open their canopies? I thought I read that was something introduced with pacific fighters, thus a lot of european aircraft in the game don't have the option. Noticed most of the navy planes have the ability to open them. It's not a big deal just a curiosity.

 

Edit: apparently there is a 1946 section on the website? Never noticed it before.

are the best places for 1946 stuff. I have not used VP modpack yet, but I have done a bit with DCG, including some Coop campaigns with my brother at one time, I may be able to help.

Not all planes in 1946 have the option to open canopies.
