As mentioned in the "Greek Fire" thread. you go through the .mission text files and everywhere it says Country = 101, you replace it with 103. Just make sure you are replacing a country ID tag or you will be moving objects around on the map.

I just did edit>replace...>replace all for "Country = 101" changing them to "Country = 103" in all the .mission files and saved them.  Is that all I needed to do?

It should be. You might want to go into the ME and under the tools drop down menu, select “convert all files in folder to binary” and then browse to the Achtung Jabos folder and select. I think that is necessary since that campaign was written pre-BoBP. You could try it without doing that and see first.

Country = 103 is for English nationality.

 

For American, it is another code.

I just tested a mission in game after converting by changing the text files and nothing more. I am still getting radio calls from other flights in Russian. I will dig into it a little and see what's up.

When I played "Greek Fire", I used this mod for negotiations in English.

I have american voices in the first mission now!

 

I performed these steps:

1) Opened the ".mission" files went to edit drop down menu selected "replace..." and used the replace all selection to change "Country = 101" to "Country = 103" in each of the the .mission files and saved them.

2) Opened the mission editor went to the tools drop down menu select “convert all files in folder to binary” and then browse to select the Achtung Jabos folder (as recommended by Jaegermeister)

 

Opened the first mission, they spoke english with american accents.

No problem at all. You do have to convert files to binary to update them or you get residual comms in Russian from other flights. The convert to binary utility solves it.

 

i would update the whole campaign, but I just don’t have time right now. You will all know why soon enough. Glad you got it working.

Loving this campaign! May have encountered an issue in 06 - Rock It. I received an "Attack Successful" green message, but on the RTB, the waypoints twice performed a loopback. Approximately halfway to Waypoint 4 from Waypoint3, the yellow navigation icon reset back to Waypoint 3. The first time, I circled back, hit it, and WP4 re-appeared. Then again half way to WP4, it reset to WP3 again. This time I ignored it and returned to base. The landing radio call and blue landing waypoint did appear so I'm not sure if this would have created a problem creating the mission.

 

I have to re-fly it anyway after the spoiler at the end of the mission...

You will have to convert the files first, then yes, it will work

After D-Day and the breakout from the invasion beaches, the US ground forces linked up and created a broad front for the advance to the Siegfried Line and the German border.  The US 9th Air Force created the XXIX Tactical Air Command to support the US 9th Army on the northern flank, where they briefly retrained and prepared for the new Tactical Air Support role they would be filling. The 373rd Fighter Group, equipped with various models of P-47 fighter-bombers, was transferred to Le Culot Airfield (A-89) on October 22, 1944 where the 3 squadrons of Jabos could operate closer to the front lines.  

 

 

As an experienced flight leader returning for your second tour, you will be flying into the thick of the action during the Allied push to the Rhine River.

No, this campaign was a similar mission set to AEthelraedUnraed’s Hurtgen Forest campaign on the Velikie Luki map as a stand in for the Ardennes. I have no plans to redo it.

 

At this point I am only working on the Normandy, Rhineland and FC maps
