Now I have one and I want to buy IL2 Stalingrad but I see there is only the higher price $95 and the $45 version isn't posted for sale. Is this now the new normal $95 price? What is a advantage to paying that now? I want to buy the simulation but not at the higher price for a product which will be released some time on the unknown future. So please tell me why I want to but the sim now at the higher price? Otherwise, I guess I'll wait and see. hoghead Tucson, AZ, USA

Standard will became available when product is released and it will cost 60$, and that time price of premium will rise to 100$. What you get paying more is Fw 190 and La-5 and access to game during early access periods (if you buy now that is + you save 5 compared to buying premium when game is released.)

Otherwise, I guess I'll wait and see. hoghead Tucson, AZ, USA 1-You will get access to the still unfinished but functional sim now as opposed to waiting for the finished product when it is released. 2-You will pay $5 less today than you will upon release for Premium. 3-When they become available you will already have access to the FW-190 and the La-5 as opposed to having to pay for them when they are released at a possibly (and very likely) higher price. This was why I bought the premium at the earliest opportunity. I knew I'd be getting it and I knew I'd be all in so I figured.. correctly that it wold be pricier if I waited and I also didn't want to wait. Judging from your post count you are new here and did not know all this.. so welcome aboard.
