@ Goffik, Some servers do and that is the point.  It does matter.

Umm... no it doesn't. The devs have given us a way to prevent online cheating by allowing servers to turn mods off completely, so they need not concern themselves with this issue at all. If a server chooses to turn mods on then that's their choice. It becomes their responsibility, not the devs, to monitor cheating. It also becomes up to those playing on such servers to decide if they want to leave themselves open to that kind of abuse or not. I use a lot of mods myself, but online I would stick to no-mod servers because people just can't be trusted these days.

Jason

@Jason_Williams, why we have haze on Standard game if we can run it without haze?

Because haze is a real atmospheric effect.

What about a "Enable" and "Disable" haze option?

As there is a MOD, there are people interested on it!

I'm sure there is, but the problem there is that haze can affect visibility. It could give those turning it off an advantage, which means making it a server option, which means further dividing the online community into even smaller groups. I don't play online myself (yet), but I can see how such an option could generate complaints.

Unless you modify the fog correction line in the sky.ini files, there is no other way.

That's the point, there ISN'T how "Enable" and "Disable". and those that plays online can't use it.

You misinterpreted what I said. When I said "I'm sure there is", I meant that I'm sure there is demand for an option to turn haze on/off within the game... not that the option already exists.

Thank's a lot for the clarification.  That's what I initially thought by looking at the pictures.

All the best

Is it right that one should not use this 'no fog mod' together with your cloud mod? I was concerned it would overwrite some of your settings and I didn't use it anymore.

If you use this, it will overwrite the entire set of modified sky.ini files in More Realistic Cloud Mod. This mod modifies the line of fog correction in the stock ski.ini files.

Is this mod still working because when using this mod I still see the fog line and sometimes I even see an ugly blue rim.
