Great Looking vids. What software are you using for editing them?

 

If they were black/white you almosts couldn´t see the difference to original footage. Good Job!

I use davinciresolve ! good for complex color grading and everything in between :salute:

@catchthefoxes Brilliant looking 16 mm!. Maybe just a touch more sauration? Just a bit? I'm not criticising, it's just the first thing to pop into me head when I watched it.

Actually that kind of 16 mm footage came out more like what you get with Super-8. 16 mm quality footage (even from 60 years ago) are far better than what came out with normal Telecine tranfer and is up to HD quality.

 

Tempests have 35 mm (@ 36 fps) combat film for their "Cine-camera".

But that is what you get from those reels aparently. Doubtful that you had so much quality loss in the tranfer. I don't think you've overdone the effect. I quiet like it.

The videos look EPIC, looks like real footage, just great. Impressive software.
