This is dither, can't fix it

Now I do get the message, however I'm wondering where it's coming from.

Is it a setting I've made - in which case I should be able to revert it - or is it that the game forcibly applies dithering to trees and therefore there's nothing that can be done about it?

If there's a setting I'd be glad to know where since I didn't enable any dithering anywhere knowingly.
