kissklas Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 Hey I just ordered the new version (forcefeel) from those who are now making the successor of the jetseat. They are called Realteus. Maybe you want to contact them about having it repaired instead of Gametrix. Realteus seem pretty busy atm though. They just started getting the products in now for the early preorders, with delay due to unplanned relocation of the storage, holiday in the production country and some late stage design changes. That may be the reason for the lack of contact, if you contacted the right people.

Any idea what should I do in this case ? https://www.gametrix.eu/products/gametrix-kw-908-jetseat-turbojet Sorry to hear that you are having problems. I presume you are using the JetSeat in sound mode with BoX and not USB mode with other sims like DCS or racing cars. Do all the motors work when you test them using the control panel? What I find is that when in sound mode, all the motors work OK when tested using the control panel test facility, but when using BoX with sound mode, not all the motors will work. I have been told that it is normal for not all the motors to work in sound mode, even though there may be nothing wrong with the motors. I also use the JetSeat with DCS, but with DCS I am able to use SimShaker For Aviators (SSA) software and use USB mode. USB mode is not available in BoX due to API export issues; see this: https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/32394-api-for-export-of-flight-data/ In USB mode with SSA all the motors work great, so I know that there is nothing wrong with the motors, but in sound mode with BoX not all the motors receive a signal to work. This is why we need API export to get the best out of the JetSeat with BoX. I have opened the motors on my JetSeat and lubricated them and also reconnected a connection wire that broke. All the motors work in USB mode with SSA via API export, but not all the motors work in sound mode unfortunately. I hope BoX can allow API export soon to allow bespoke software to be developed so that we can use USB mode with BoX and get the best from our JetSeats. Happy landings, Talisman
kissklas Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 The wire connections seem to be a recurring problem with the old jetseats. I have seen a few posts regarding it. If you have the technical knowhow and a soldering iron, I guess Talismans way works. But if not, remember that you most likely void the warrenty doing so!
TWHYata_PL Posted November 17, 2018 Author Posted November 17, 2018 I recived finally respond after one week ( probalby becous i wrote about it at their Facebook page) from Gametrix/Forcefeel support. I guess there is only one guy . Anyway I recived permission to open gametrix and check wires, one of them was broken. Fixed It but becouse everythink was glued inside my foam now is partially destroyed. @56RAF_Talisman you presumed a bit wrong but thanks anyway. I'm quite advanced sim user ( flight /racing/space sim) and gametrix software is not a problem for me. 1
