NETSCAPE Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 I know this is WAY premature, but just a fun topic for discussion... I was reading up a bit ago on the Battle of Brody. That would be an interesting set of AFVs. Yes I know the situation of the (lack of) VVS, the Luftwaffe dominance and the OP armor of the KV1/T34s relative to the 1941 roster of German guns... so yeah "balance" would be an issue I guess. But then again I like handicap scenarios in games (CCIII Finnish mod comes to mind). I wouldn't mind strolling around in a PzKpfw. II. There would still be some eligible targets for it. I'm sure the average player wants stuff from 44 or 45 if anything... muh King Tiger. Muh IS-2. So future Tank Crew Battles will probably all be later than Kursk I'm guessing. Also the plane sets have to be considered I guess since they are going for combined arms stuff. (which probably kills my early/Barbarossa dreams) But at the end of the day give me any Stug variant from any year of the war and I'd be a happy camper. III F/8 is my favorite aesthetic but I'd settle for the later G or an early B.
Mac_Messer Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Basicly any ostfront scenario that implies having as much LL tanks as possible. I`d like TC to have a very broad tank list to choose from, not just 75mm and up. 1
Juri_JS Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 (edited) If there will be another TC module, I guess it will be a western front battle, maybe Ardennes or Normandy. My personal choice would be Operation Bagration. Edited September 1, 2018 by Juri_JS 2

But I have no desire to play western front engagements personally. 6 hours ago, Veteran66 said: I will see Rommel`s Afrika Korps Indeed that would be fun. Manning a flak 88 in anti-tank role would be cool too.
=362nd_FS=RoflSeal Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 British sector of Normandy had some of the heaviest concentrations of tanks during the war. E.g. Operation Goodwood 109 Pz IVs, 46 Panthers, 35 StuGs, 43 Tiger Is, 12 Tiger IIs and 30 SpAts facing roughly 750 Allied tanks on 6 km frontage. This is a similar number of tanks as on Prokhorovka, but on a slightly smaller frontage
Nil Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 I would love to simply see Battle Of Britain. Love this battle. 1

Nil Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 @RoflSeal Oups sorry I did not saw that it was on "tank crew" section! My bad.
Feathered_IV Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 (edited) I wouldn’t mind playing a game of armored hide and seek in the Bocage. Edited September 2, 2018 by Feathered_IV 1

Yep, EPSOM, GOODWOOD or TOTALIZE for the Normandy setting, Krinkelt-Rocherath, Dom-Buettgenbach, Stoumont, Celles for Battle of the BULGE setting or Hochwald Gap for a BlOCKBUSTER setting would be interesting.
LuftManu Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Normandy would be a nice choice in my opinion for the sake of gameplay. Also, there can be a higly detailed French coast map and give more room to airpower with standard quality terrain for British coast and else.
Thad Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Salutations, I would like a first row seat to watch the developers battle for who finishes and perfects there respective units first. Planes versus Tanks. Come on tank builders.... kick those airdales butts!
Volkoff Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 Hmm, how about bringing in Japan and covering the Battles of Khalkyn Gol or stick with the Great Patriotic War and cover battles from the Soviet Finnish Front?
SYN_Mike77 Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 Battle of France May June 1940. Char B v pz II

Meteor2 Posted September 17, 2018 Posted September 17, 2018 The Winter war or the continuation war would be an interessting scenario, indeed. But not easy to implement, because it was very much influenced by Finish infantry or ski troops (Winter war). Hopefully the dev do think about this area in the north.
PhalicPhalicTheImpaler Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 (edited) Not a battle but would like to have a career mode. But as for a battle id like to see the battle of Brody. Battle of Brody, 23 – 30 June 1941 The Battle of Brody, which has been called “the largest tank battle of World War II until the Battle of Kursk two years later,” saw 800 Axis tanks line up against 2,500 of their Russian opposite numbers. The German victory was partly due to their air force, the Luftwaffe, flying over the Polish war fields, destroying up to 201 Soviet tanks. However, the tank battle was incredibly fierce, with the German forces finding that the new Soviet T-34 tanks were virtually impervious to their firepower. It was mainly due to the Red Army’s supply chain drying up that the Germans were allowed to continue their offensive and press home their advantage. Edited September 18, 2018 by Lugubrious 1
