Missions reload in Multiplay after just 15 seconds

then the same mission and map appear,you can rejoin the airfield of choice,stat fly.and the sequence begins again....for as long as it ends and then you restart it...

 

some help with this please....

I'm not sure what's happening here. I think you're having trouble with your custom missions. Is it for multiplayer? Is it coop? Are you using a dServer or through the client? Could you reword what's going on? Maybe add more details and/or the mission file in question. Then again, maybe I haven't had enough coffee yet..

its a dogfight mission.....very very simple with just some incoming planes and a train to bomb

PD, in Mission Editor, at the top go to "search and select" then "find mission objects" check "translator mission objectives" and "translator mission end" and see if you get any results.

 

I am guessing you have a mission objective that is getting met, and that is triggering the eom. 

opps,,,,sorry did not see the rar file.

 

I would get rid  of the mission end that is triggered when the ship gets damaged, and see if that helps.

I actually put it in the mission to see if it would prolong the mission...

also.all yes ALL of my missions now close and restart every 15 seconds or so......

 

strange indeed....

Are you creating the multiplayer server from the game or are you creating it on a DServer with Server Type set to "Custom"? In either case check (game / DServer):

  • TDM Round time / Max time for round
  • Points per round / Team points per round

The DServer values are in the Advanced Settings Dialog (see pg. 331 in the editor manual).

 

Also:

  • You do not need waypoints for trains except for stops (see pg. 70 in the editor manual).
  • The formation leader in 1416 produces an OnMovedTo event message. As far as I know, that message is not implemented. Please let us know if it works for you.

Thanks so much for your time guys,

Indeed it was a setting in the server that shut the game down and reloaded it just seconds into the start....

server type is set to custom....and I will be checking it out in the manual.....previously,  for three months or so, i had no issues but suddenly it stopped the missions prematurely...

so now all will be well for tonight's testing....
